A question worth asking yourself. Mental wellness has been a significant concern nowadays. We tend to forget ourselves in this busy monotonous life. Many people pause their routine for family gatherings or parties, not necessarily for personal enjoyment but to nurture their relationships.

But when we deal with stress and anxiety, it is highly important to focus on our mental happiness. The initial step to overcome such a situation is self-prioritization. Allocating time for personal well-being, enjoying quality moments, treating oneself to shopping, and relishing a good meal are the best ways to do that. When we ignore this, things might go out of our hands and we may fall into depression or traumas.

It’s crucial to assess your flexibility in demanding work situations. While it may be challenging to carve out personal time amid heavy workloads, setting limits on stress is essential. Communicating with your manager about overwhelming stress and struggling with work-life balance can be beneficial.


Seek help from a close friend or with family  if needed, and open up how you feel and also follow meditation, yoga or other stress relieving techniques. Do consult a psychologist too if you feel that only helps.


Finally remember, you are the only one who knows your needs. Few compassionate efforts will pave the way for a healthier and fulfilling life. Let’s love ourselves first and then others.
